Purchase Guardian is not released yet. This page describes how it is designed to work and will be checked against the version that ships before the app goes on sale.
The short version
- Your purchases and deadlines are stored on your iPhone, and the core app works without an account.
- Cloud features are optional. They are reading documents the app can't read on its own, encrypted backup, and billing.
- The server does not store your email address or your name.
- Backups are encrypted with a key that stays on your device.
- You can delete your data at every level, including your account.
